But in this case, it is not enough to describe the numerous technical highlights of the new product line of measuring machines made by WENZEL GearTec. On the one hand the new machines were developed for the inspection of gears, but they offer a wide range of measuring possibilities for all other application areas. |

| …THE IMPLEMENTATION |

…of the unusual high accuracy of the 4-axis-measuring device results on the one hand from minimizing the thermal factors, on the other hand from an absolutely new and innovative combination of the axes to each other. Common practice is a 3+1 arrangement, now we have a 2+2 combination. Addition of errors is minimized. Despite its very compact design the measuring capacity of the INOVA series is enormous. |

WHAT WE TAKE FOR GRANTED…
…but what should be noted is, among others, the trend towards multi sensors. Besides the extensive selection of scanning measuring probes from Renishaw we also support surface measurement and detectors for inspection of overheating when grinding.
The concept of the encapsulated probe change rack is also new. The probes are tidily and cleanly arranged in a closed housing and thus perfectly protected from dirt and damage. |

Due to the integrated pneumatic vibration damping there is no need for an extra foundations, is another price advantage.
Despite the compact design, a counter holder is an inherent part of the system.
The modular structure of the system allows the customer to configure a specific INOVA – just InNOVAtive.
Besides the software packages from WENZEL GearTec the complete software from the WENZEL Group can be used with the products from the INOVA series. |

Machine Construction :

Frictionless non contact air bearings which are superior to mechanical bearings because there will not be any wear or tear of guide ways.

Granite Guide ways are ground & lapped. Protection for guide ways against unhealthy environment such as dust is provided by the air coming out of the air bearings with pressure.

Only WGT CNC Gear Testers have active pneumatic vibration damping system.

The high precision, air bearing rotary table is partially integrated into the machine base. The fast-reacting servomotor and a high-resolution rotary encoder, directly mounted onto the bearing system, are guaranteeing precise control and positioning of the rotary axis.
